Art Studio Views is an annual event dedicated to promoting the work and talent of local artists in the area. Artists from Hyde Park, Rhinebeck, Rhinecliff, Red Hook, and Clinton Corners open their studios to the public, share their creative environment, and help visitors understand the meaning behind their creativity.
Enjoy a visit “Behind the Scenes” and take advantage of this special opportunity to be on the inside track and purchase works of art directly from the artist. Most of the art created here finds its way to many local, regional and national galleries or exhibitions throughout the year.
Spearheaded by the artists themselves, Art Studio Views is a free event to the public. It is supported by local sponsors who help promote the Arts in The Hudson Valley. With their generous support, artists are able to host this rare and special event.
For many visitors, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity to actually meet and speak with the artists in their own space. See how they work. Ask questions about how our wonderful Hudson Valley Area inspires them. Engage in a dialog to learn how certain works of art are actually made and see many in production.
Many of the studios are handicap-accessible, and others can possibly be seen by special arrangement. Please check with the individual artist in advance.
